Nyssa aquatica

Size: 3-gallon

The Water Tupelo is a striking, resilient tree ideal for homeowners looking to enhance wetland areas or low-lying spots in their landscape. Growing 60-80 feet tall, this deciduous tree features glossy, dark green leaves that turn brilliant shades of yellow and orange in the fall, providing a stunning seasonal display. Its graceful, pyramidal form and ability to thrive in standing water make it perfect for planting near ponds, lakes, or swampy areas. In addition to its beauty, the Water Tupelo produces small, pear-shaped fruits that attract wildlife. Low-maintenance and adaptable to various soil types, it’s an excellent choice for creating shade and adding character to moisture-rich landscapes.
